More and more people are being drawn to the boating lifestyle and its sense of community and our aim is to bring the various aspects of boating life together into one community platform, The Narrowboat Place. Think of it as a virtual marketplace where visitors can buy and sell their goods, list services, find boats for sale or locate skilled tradespeople and ask for assistance. By fostering a sense of collaboration throughout the boating community we hope The Narrowboat Place can truly engage and connect with our users.

If you have chandlery items for sale, we can host them on our website and process sales for you. If you are a boater and make arts and craft items from your boat, we can sell them too. The Narrowboat Place can act as your e-commerce marketplace so you don’t have to.

If you are a tradesperson or service provider and want to appear in our directory, we are happy to have you on board and we do not charge you anything for this service. Similarly, if you are a boat sales broker, we will gladly host your boat listings for free.
